Sweets and Biscuits

Christmas sweets are some of the best food items of the season. Here are a select few which make regular appearances at our houses:

Budget Christmas Biscuits

This is a great cheat for those who need to come up with something in a hurry (like when a child tells you that they need to bring something for the Christmas bake sale at school at 8:00pm the evening before. Budget Christmas Biscuits are a life saver: Budget Christmas Biscuits

Rocky Road

I can’t have Christmas without Rocky Road. It is fantastic in individual serves, or in a slice (or cake if you fancy). The chunkier the better – add loads of nuts, cherries, jellies and marshmallow. You can link to the recipe here:  Rocky Road

White Christmas

I love White Christmas, and make a special batch each year with extra cherries and ginger added to the mix. Great to serve with coffees and liquors and can be packaged up and given as a gift. Here is the recipe I use  White Christmas or for something a little different try Chocolate White Christmas
