2 shots of Vodka

1 shot Frangelico

1 shot Bailey’s Irish Cream (or chocolate alcohol)

Chocolate syrup

Whipped cream and cherry to garnish

 

 

Swirl chocolate syrup in glass

Shake all alcohols in a cocktail shaker

Pour into glass and serve with a little cream and a cherry on top

This one’s a punch bowl recipe:

4 cups pineapple juice

2 cups chilled lemonade

1 cup blue curacao

1 cup dry gin/vodka (your choice)

Pineapple wedges, mint, cherries & cocktail umbrellas to garnish

Mix all ingredients in a punch bowl

You’ll need:

  • 4 oranges
  • 2 lemons
  • 1 apple, unpeeled, core removed, diced
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup brandy
  • 750ml bottle red wine (see note)
  • 1/4 cup caster sugar
  • 750ml bottle soft drink (lemonade, soda water or ginger ale

How to make it: 

Slice  & quarter 1 orange & 1 lemon. Add to a bowl with apple, cinnamon & brandy and leave in the fridge overnight (Apple Mix)

Juice remaining oranges and lemons.

Combine with apple mix, wine, soft drink & sugar. Stir to mix

Pour over ice to serve

How to make egg nog

  • 3 eggs
  • 1/3 cup caster sugar
  • 2 ½ cups milk
  • ¼ cup dark rum (Bourbon for something different
  • ¼ cup brandy
  • 1 cup thickened cream
  • ground nutmeg to serve
  1. Place eggs, sugar and milk in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Whisk to combine. Cook, stirring constantly, for 6 to 8 minutes or until mixture thickens and coats the back of a wooden spoon. Remove from heat. Stir in rum, brandy and half the cream.
  2. Using an electric mixer, beat remaining cream in a bowl until soft peaks form. Pour egg mixture into 4 heatproof glasses. Top with cream. Sprinkle with nutmeg. Serve.
